It is in the side of a cliff and appears as a strange large rock carving resembling a giant "door". It was thought by some to be an abandoned Incan construction project.

Locals tell of abnormally tall 'men' accompanied by glowing orbs coming out of, or "walking through the doorway" into the outside world.

Paranormal writer Terry Willis claims that these legends are true, and that he himself once had travelled through the rock (INTO the cliff) as if it were some sort of portal.

In the Youtube.com video(s) above it is stated that on the evening of November 11, 1998, at around 11 pm, Jerry Willis, his wife Kathy and a handful of others visited the site of Aramu Muru.

Jerry had heard "...fantastic stories about how people have disappeared into it, how they have seen people come out of it, and then walk back into it again. Sometimes they are dressed in the ancient attire of robes and (a headpiece and so forth)..."

Jerry befriended a Peruvian native Shaman named Pedro, who knew of the gateway...

"There are people who use that doorway to go to other worlds, other places... I've seen it happen."

Jerry said that there are "three tones" that open the doorway.

Jerry went there again and made the tones, at which point his wife saw him disappear.

He found himself in a very large "arena" type room, all white!

He soon heard the voice of a 'man' talking, as if "oven an intercom system". He understood his words, as he asked him (Jerry) who he was.

"So, I told him. And he welcomed me, surprisingly enough. I asked him who he was, and he said... 'Well, we're the ones who constructed the doorway...' And (he) went on to explain to me how they had made these doorways (and that) they interconnected through some means to other places on our planet, on our earth, and also to other worlds out there in the cosmos, and it sounds just like Stargate!

"So, I apologized for that..."

When you make the tones "it turns on the energy by resonating the silica in the stones, and it interferes with the energy that runs through there naturally."

Jerry returned to his wife by sounding the same tones.

Kathy said that when he went in (to the cliff) "he began to shimmer" and disappear. She said that he was gone for only 3-5 minutes, but it seemed a LOT LONGER to Jerry!
